Visualise 3D frames on a home


1. Open a house photo

  1. If the design panel is open, select anywhere in the 3D viewport to hide the panel.
  2. Select View on home from the bottom right corner of the page.
  3. Choose the image file you would like to use from your operating system's file picker. Important: The image must not be cropped.
  4. Within the View on your home panel, choose whether the photo is Outside or Inside the home, rotate the image if needed, then select Use this photo.

2. Position the frame

  1. Roughly drag the corners of the frame into position.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select the button labelled 2D Mode to switch to 3D mode.
  3. Tweak the corner positions until the frame is well aligned.

3. Add another frame

  1. From the top navigation bar, select the Frames menu button.
  2. Choose the frame(s) you would like to add.
  3. Again, align the corners with the image.

4. Design while visualising

  1. Select the circular Design button from the right of the page to open the design panel.
  2. Design as you normally would. Tip: Ensure Apply to existing frames is checked if choosing colours.

5. Toggle between views

  1. If the design panel is open, select anywhere on the visualisation image to hide the panel.
  2. Select View in 3D from the bottom right corner of the page.
  3. To switch back to the visualisation, select View on home. You won't need to reopen the image provided you haven't refreshed your browser tab.

6. Save an image of the visualisation

  1. Select Save image from the top right of the page.
  2. Follow the prompts in your browser to open or save the visualisation.
